Ollie

Today we had to put Ollie down. It was one of the hardest things we've had to do. We had that dog before we had the kids. 12 years is a long time. We will miss him. He was so great with our boys as well as the neighborhood kids. He even helped some of those neighborhood kids overcome their fear of dogs. Gentle and protective and true to his breed, the backyard sure is empty without him.

Oh that makes me sad too! I recognize that backyard!

I can't tell Bella, she's still traumatized that her fish died when she was 2. The Randall's dog was recently run over by a car and died a couple of days later. Kassi called to tell us. Bella still cries about that.

I'm sorry for your loss - hugs to the little men in your home!

I am so sorry - pets are truly family members. I know our zeke is to us, and I dread the day we face that loss. Hugs to all. Have a peaceful journey Ollie-

I had to put my cat down when she got cancer and it was hard times for me. She would greet me everytime I got to the front door for years. Even if I just left to get the mail. It's hard to let go of our friendly pets! They have the best unconditional love. So sorry!
